Booking Terms & Conditions

Contract

The contract for a short term holiday let shall be made between Cheshire Cheese Cottage Bed & Breakfast (the ‘owners’) and the client, and will be entered into following confirmation of booking, subject to all the following booking terms and conditions.

Reservations

Reservations will only be accepted on receipt of a completed booking form and payment or reservation fee.

Arrival / Departure

Guests are welcome at Cheshire Cheese Cottage Bed and Breakfast between 4pm and 10.30pm. If you wish to arrive outside of these times, please telephone to arrange a mutually convenient time.

Guests are requested to vacate the property by 10.30am on the day of departure.

If your arrival is delayed, please advise us as soon as possible so that alternative arrangements can be made.

If you fail to arrive by 10.30am on the day after the start date and you do not advise the owners accordingly, the owner will treat the booking as cancelled by you the client.

Payments

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, Delta etc, etc. Cash and personal/company cheques if accompanied by a current cheque guarantee card.  All rates are inclusive of VAT.

Care of Property

You shall take all reasonable and proper care of the property and its furniture, fixtures and fittings during the period of rental and leave them in the same state of repair and condition as at the beginning of the rental.

You shall be responsible for the actual costs of any breakages or damage to the property – along with any additional costs that may result – which are caused by your or a member of your party. The owner can demand payment from you to cover such costs.

Breach of Contract / Right of Entry

Should their be any breach of this contract or any of these terms and conditions, the owners reserve the right to re-enter the property and terminate the rental without prejudice to the other rights and remedies of the owners. The owners shall be allowed the right to enter the property at all reasonable times for the purpose of inspection or to carry out any necessary repairs / maintenance.

Pets

No pets are allowed. If it is found that a pet has been brought to the property, the owner can refuse entry to the property or can terminate the rental.

Occupancy

You can not allow more guests than was agreed when the property was booked, without seeking permission from the owners.

Complaints

Should there be any cause for complaint during your rental, you must notify the owners promptly. In the case of a serious complaint, this must be confirmed in writing.

Client Property

During the period of rental the owners cannot accept any liability for the loss or damage to clients belongings, cars or their contents. You must take necessary steps to safeguard your personal property.

Accessibility

If your mobility is restricted or you have specified access requirements, please telephone the owner for advice prior to arrival.

Cancellation Policy

Any cancellation made by the client, for whatever reason, must be given prior to your stay and confirmed in writing or by email.

Cancellation within 2 weeks of stay – 20% of total booking value

Cancellation within 1 week of stay – 40% of total booking value

Data Protection

Any personal data gathered for any booking may be held on computer files. This data will only be used by the owners.
